Site Manager - Utilities (NRSWA) - West London - £50,000


Our client is a top tier contractor in a JV alliance upgrading of the Power cable network covering the UK. You'll be working on the upgrade of power cables and some substation work, with a focus on buried cables, as you will be based in West London and covering this area.
You will have previous relevant experience in utilities and civil works, leading and managing on site teams, including:

• Managing the operational workforce to ensure efficient and effective use of time and resources
• Act as mentor to existing teams and trainees.

• Monitor performance of direct reports and set suitable challenges to maintain development.
• To work safely at all times and ensure safety of all those working around them
• To prepare/assist in the production of Risk Assessments & Method Statements

• To ensure that all contract specific work is undertaken in line with contract operational procedures and method statements
• To support and work with the Contract Manager to plan future work when required.
• To record accurately details of work undertaken

• Plan replacement schemes to ensure they minimise impact to local residents, traffic flow and local authorities while maintaining network integrity.

You will have:
A relevant construction qualification
SMSTS or SSSTS
NRSWA Supervisor qualification.
Due to the nature of the role you will need to hold a UK driving license.
