Technical Advisor (Construction Finance)

QS / BS to join Private Finance team as the leading Technical Advisers to the PPP sector in the UK & ROI.

Your new company
Hays are working in partnership with a leading Belfast consultancy in the recruitment of a Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor to join their PPP / Private Finance team on a permanent basis.

This young and dynamic team made up of Cost Consultants, Building Surveyors and Project Managers are based in central Belfast, operating in all sectors of the property and construction markets.

The business is recognised as one of the leading Technical Advisers to the PPP sector in the UK and Ireland and offer exceptional opportunities for all staff to be involved in a wide range of diverse project types and roles.

Your new role
You will work as part of a small independent PPP / Private Finance team reporting into the Quantity Surveying Director and working on projects throughout the UK and ROI.

What you'll need to succeed
You do not need to have experience in this specific field however you should have a minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor within a consultancy or contracting environment.

You must have strong report writing skills, be commercial aware, eager to learn and happy to travel to various project locations across the UK. Travel is around 2/3 times per month and generally limited to day trips.
