A leading Chester based contractor are looking for an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team, delivering new build housing across Northwales, Merseyside and Cheshire for the open market as well as various contracts and joint ventures with local housing Associations. This is a well renowned and prestigious business in the local market that offers plenty of opportunity for career progression.

Your new role
Dependant on experience, you will either assistant or take full responsibility for various new build housing sites. Dependant on experience you will have commercial responsibility for sites at different stages ranging from appraisal stage, mobilisation/R&S and established. Work will involve budgeting, tendering, procuring orders, valuing, CVR reports, subcontractor payments amongst other day-to-day commercial functions.

What you'll need to succeed
You are an Assistant or Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor able to work on day release or degree qualified already. You are ambitious, hard working and keen to progress your career. Some new build housing or contracting experience is ideal for this role.
