Your new company
You will be working for an East Midlands based contractor who have a strong regional presence and community focus. The organisation complete works in a range of sectors including; Education, Healthcare, Residential new build and Commercial projects. This vacancy is to join their commercial team looking after Residential projects initially and then moving onto commercial works.


Your new role
You will be reporting in to the Commercial Manager and you will be responsible for residential new build projects initially. You will work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor reviewing budgets in relation to cash flow, supply chain and overall project programmes. You will be dealing with payments to ensure all applications are correct. You will need to have experience of monitoring costs and preparing work packages and cash flow forecasts. The role will also involve completing financial statements / reports, valuations and final accounting.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have NEC and JCT contract knowledge and have a Quantity Surveying background in the residential sector or with a main contractor. Due to the clients track record of developing talent they are also keen to speak with driven and dedicated graduates from a commercial academic qualification. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
