Kingston Town Centre Area Regeneration Lead
Salary: RBK Grade K (£49,464 - £54,597 per annum) + Market supplement for exceptional candidate
The Royal Borough of Kingston has recently adopted a Corporate Plan that places the well being of our communities at the heart of the delivery of new affordable housing, commercial and employment floorspace. Moving forward anyone wishing to build new homes in Kingston will be expected truly involve our communities in co-design and provide a clear focus on the benefits for residents. The post of Kingston Town Centre Regeneration Lead has been specifically created to develop and deliver key strategic development sites in Kingston Town Centre.
Working to the Corporate Head of Service, the successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in working with partners to respond to the structural challenges Kingston town centre faces and the ability to develop a series of improvements for a re-imagine town centre. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in the development and delivery of strategic housing and leisure sites in Kingston town centre, supported by an expert team of in-house urban designers to deliver high quality place making adopting a co-design approach. Key will be the ability to develop and drive a development programme on complex city centre sites, having the right balance of commercial acumen with tenacity and vision.
