National house builder require Architectural Technician, Permanent position, AutoCAD essential.

A national house builder are looking for an Architectural Technician to join their busy technical team. A company that pride themselves on the service they provide and the quality of their work. The technical team is a combination of architectural and engineering designers allowing an collaborative approach to the design.

Your new role
Reporting to the Design Manager day to day responsibilities will include the preparation of construction packages, details and specifications and working alongside external consultants and suppliers to complete a full tender package for the commercial, construction, sales and marketing team to work with. Other responsibilities will include attending office and site based meetings, liaising directly with the NHBC Building Control Department.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to have previous experience working for a large house builder, producing technical drawing packages. You will need to be enthusiastic in your new role and be able to work to tight deadlines. Being able to problem solve and be solution focused.
