Assistant Project QS

Premium Builder require Assistant project QS to join their commercial team.

Your new company
Our client are a national builder who are the choice of institutions who have a complex design and build project within the education, leisure and commercial sectors. They have just won several exciting projects around Edinburgh and are seeking to add assistant project QS's to their team.


Your new role
As assistant project quantity surveyor you will be working on a project supporting the the senior QS in delivering this project in line with commercial expectations. From assisting in the subcontractor procurement process to managing invoicing and payments you will have a role to play at all levels of this project's delivery. Your attention to detail , superior contract knowledge and excellent organisations skills will see you thrive in this role.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate is already working for a builder in the Scottish market but is seeking to upgrade their employment with one of the UK's best builders. You have 2 to 3 years experience of working on projects as QS and already have well developed construction knowledge and contract management insight. You will have completed your BSC degree and are ambitious to progress your employment towards MRICS or are already in the process of doing it.
