Hays are currently recruiting for a Commercial Assistant to work in the Construction arm of the business.

Your new role
Your new job will be acting as Commercial Assistant for the business.
Duties will include:

• Update Early Warning Notice Register
• Update Compensation Event Register
• Update Project Managers Instruction Register
• Raise Material PO's on the system
• Collate all delivery tickets
• Goods receipt all Material PO's on the System
• Raise any Plant Hire PO's
• Goods receipt Plant Hire PO's
• Raise Stats PO's on the system
• Chase Stats Invoices and Good Receipt
• Manage Subbie Payment Monitor
• Subcontractor Approval Register
• Assist in Collating / Issuing Subcontracts
• Deal with, chase and monitor subcontracts with Contract Services
• Issue and chase Order Uplift forms when required
• Help investigate SAP report anomalies
• Raise minor Subcontracts
• Raise Subcontract Liabilities
• Assist with on-site records (e.g. photos, videos etc)
• General assistance in helping Commercial Team find information
• Help with the assessment of Option C Subbies each month (i.e. checking plant and material invoices, timesheets, signing in sheets etc)

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the position, you must have proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the Construction industry.
