Procurement Associate Director
Associate Director – Procurement Advisory Team
International Property & Constriction Management Consultant
The role holder will be responsible for leading and managing complex consultancy assignments in the procurement space, working with Clients and a wider team to implement an effective end to end process from determining appropriate procurement strategies, through to drafting relevant procurement documentation and notices and above all implementing a robust procurement process to a successful conclusion. As a result, applicants will have a proven track record in delivering OJEU compliant and non-OJEU procurement projects over a variety of routes (open, restricted, competitive dialogue etc) for the public-sector. Some experience of delivering built environment and / or development projects is desirable but not essential.
This is a senior role within the team and although there is a strong pipeline of work, the longer-term expectation is that this individual will play an active role in business development, securing new work and will ultimately help take the team forward to deliver impressive growth.
Given the seniority of the role and its requirements, you will be working with clients and stakeholders of all levels, sometimes explaining and gaining consensus for complex concepts and so excellent communication skills both oral and written will be a key requirement.
From an internal perspective, you will be required to play an active role in the mentoring, management and development of junior staff as well as the development of processes and procedures which increase efficiency.
You will be MCIPS qualified (or will shortly qualify) and be highly knowledgeable with demonstrable experience of leading projects in the procurement sphere and have a detailed knowledge of the public and potentially other industry sectors.
