Freelance M&E Quantity Surveyor - Temp (Freelance) - up to £350 p/d - Leicestershire area - 42 hours per week

Your new company
Hays Building Services, Leicester are seeking Freelance M&E Quantity Surveyor's to support the growing demand from our clients across the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire areas.

Your new role
As an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for; Calculating the costs of the project before and during construction, order materials required, price the cost of time and labour, offer advice to clients regarding more cost-effective materials / features using all the above to create a bill of quantities. You may also deal with tenders from contractors, advise on legal and contractual matters whilst monitoring the progress of the building works.

What you'll need to succeed
A strong background in M&E supporting organisations as a Quantity Surveyor. You will be computer literate with the ability to use software for calculations, record keeping, preparing work schedules and report writing. A relevant degree to Quantity Surveying Is desirable but not essential.
