The Energy team of this global construction consultancy has over 25 years commercial management experience within Power Generation, Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Renewables, Petrochemical and general Engineering/Manufacturing.

They are currently looking to recruit an ambitious, highly motivated Commercial lead / Senior Quantity Surveyor in Warrington, ideally with some background in procurement of manufactured products.

You will have Pre-Contract experience to include;

- Procurement strategy development and drafting pricing mechanisms

- Cost Planning

- Preparing Works Information

- Collating Invitation to Tender Packages

- Managing tender queries / returns and down selection process

- Negotiation and award of contracts

You will have Post-Contract experience to include;

- Valuations

- Contract management

- Risk management

- Contract change control

- Cost Management and reporting

- Attending / leading project and commercial meetings

The ability to negotiate and set up contract terms and conditions and the experience to manage post contract management issues of manufacturing / supplier products is vital.

Experience in the Nuclear / Civil engineering sectors is desired but not essential. Candidates will have a broad spectrum of technical knowledge relating to Cost and Commercial Management.

This opportunity will require Security Clearance.
