MEP Project Manager

MEP Project Manager in Southampton required for one of the UK's leading M&E Contractors


Due to an increase in workload, one of the leading M&E Contractors in the UK are looking to strengthen for their Southampton office.

Projects include Student Accommodation, Commercial, High End Resi, Universities, Schools / Academy's, Government, Hotels.

Typical projects values c £7milllion (nothing less than £2mill) - M&E value. They are currently looking for a MEP Manager with a Mechanical bias to undertake the following :

• Site based and client facing. Work areas are from South Oxford to Bournemouth to Brighton.
• Must be able to manage multiple people simultaneously and focus the overall workforce on delivery.
• Managing work programme alongside the delivery team of engineers, supervisors and foreman
• Must have at least 5 years' experience in this role and successfully completed project from start to finish.
• All relevant qualifications (MECH) required including SMSTS and ideally PRINCE 2.
• Must have experience of schools / commercial buildings and the like. (NO FM)
• Apprentice trained operatives are preferred.

You will receive the following :

• Car and fuel card can be provided or a car allowance and fuel card.
• Package details can be discussed at interview stage.
• Perm position, start negotiable.

Would suit a seasoned construction operative with projects up to £5m MEP in their back pocket.
