HOME WORKING Residential Valuation Surveyor - South Yorkshire- £58,000 + Car


Your new company
My client is a large national banking group who are looking to recruit a home-based Regional Surveyor to cover South Yorkshire. If you are fully qualified (MRICS / FRICS) with post-qualification experience and wish to join their growing national team, this may be the opportunity for you.

Your new role
You will take responsibility for the regions by providing specialist property advice to the Group which will include mortgage valuations & security assessments for residential investment properties in aid of the Group's buy-to-let business and other functions.

• You will carry-out valuations in accordance with company lending criteria, RICS Red Book and the groups guidance.
• Complete validations of panel surveyor valuation reports and maintain / develop panel surveyor relationships
• You will Manage the region including valuation flow and panel input.
• You will provide high quality professional advice & comply with RICS regulations and all other requirements
• It will be your job to follow local markets and technical developments affecting the role which will include Houses in Multiple Occupation
• You may be required to help to manage Rent recovery, Repossession and Power of sale cases which include condition, valuation, and Health & Safety reporting and working with agents as necessary

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be MRICS / FRICS qualified ideally with Registered Valuer Status (VRS) however if you do not have VRS but have valuation experience the client is still considering this option, but you must be happy to complete the VRS as this will be essential for the role. You will ideally have experience in Buy to Let Valuations. You will also need a full driving licence. The client expects 3 valuations a day, but this will vary dependant on the size of the valuation etc.

What you'll get in return
This is a home working role and you will manage your own diary, you will receive a competitive Salary up to £58,000 + Car, Laptop & Phone, there Is an annual bonus paid over Christmas which is based on Company Performance, Private Healthcare, Flexible Working, Pension contributions matched up to 6%, 27 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
