Freelance Site Manager required for commercial build in Tiverton - 2 week holiday cover

We are delighted to be working again with one of our national clients, a Tier 1 building contractor with a strong reputation for innovation, social responsibility and customer focus. The company specialises in civils, building and infrastructure projects across the UK and have approached us with a requirement for a strong freelance site manager to provide holiday cover for a project in Mid-Devon.

Your new role
Reporting to the local contracts manager, you will provide 2 weeks' site management cover on a multimillion pound educational facility in Tiverton that will be of great importance to the local community once operational. Daily duties will include attending site meetings, organising specialist trades, taking deliveries of materials and plant, keeping the site diary up to date, preparing progress reports and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained on site.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be able to demonstrate an adequate level of experience supervising commercial projects for main contractors in the recent past, have current CSCS, SMSTS and 1st aid certification, as well as being a clear and effective communicator.
