Job Details

Senior Associate Director / International banking group / Central London

Your new company

I am recruiting for an international banking group, who are looking to appoint a Senior Associate Director within the London Project Management team, located in the head office near to St Paul`s in the City of London. The Project Management team forms part of the wider Building Consultancy department which provides a range of professional and project services to Occupier and Investor clients, as well as internal teams.

Your new role
The candidate will take the lead in the delivery of commercial Cat A refurbishment projects for their Institutional Investor and Occupier clients in and around London, with the opportunity to become involved in projects over a wider geographical area. This Senior Associate Director/Director level role will suit a project manager who is currently working in the commercial Cat A refurbishment market who has a strong understanding of construction and a demonstrable track record of project delivery, and wishes to develop the Cat A PM proposition to enhance their career.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate can expect to be involved with projects from concept through to completion; you will need a strong eye for detail and a technical background. You will possess a good appreciation of commercial construction and see this role as an opportunity to progress your career to the next level.

Responsibilities:
Currently, the Project Management team primarily undertake commercial Cat B fit-out projects, and have a long-established and enviable track record in this area. Following the wider business's refocus on investor and landlord clients they are now looking to expand their Cat A / refurbishment project offering and therefore this offers a significant opportunity to develop and grow this part of the business. This role will ideally suit someone who is looking to develop their career through expanding their professional network, applying strong project management processes whilst retaining a hands-on involvement in project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a construction related discipline - Building surveying / quantity surveying / construction management / architecture.
  • Ideally MRICS or equivalent
  • Ideally APMP or equivalent
