Your new company
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager to join an established, thriving contractor based in the North East. This position is to start straight away with the view to lasting a minimum of 6 months.

Your new role
Within this role you will be responsible for leading a design team and ensuring that all timescales and budgets are being adhered to. You will be tasked with supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements and his/her obligations in the development of the building design and ensuring the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice, where appropriate. You will reporting directly to a Senior Project Manager.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you must have 5 years minimum experience working as a design manager within construction. Ideally you will previous experience working with projects £20m in value or more.
