Your new company
The UK's largest small business landlord, with a property portfolio of over 5,200 railway arches, business estates and former station buildings after acquiring a leading railway provider's commercial portfolio, have witnessed substantial development in the past year and now looking to hire a Senior Regional Building Surveyor to help manage the in-house Building Surveyors and grow the business.

Your new role
You will be one of three Senior Surveyors in the company, working from the London office for half of the time, with management responsibility of the in-house Building Surveyors.

You will be provided sound technical support and advice to the Asset and Property Management teams and ensure the smooth delivery of maintenance and minor works across the South of England, notably Sussex, Kent, Anglia and the Midlands.

You will work on a range of different projects within a diverse portfolio, including railway arches, business estates, former station buildings and other properties. These projects will typically range from £10K up to £500K.

What you'll need to succeed
Essential: MRICS or MCIOB

• You will have strong experience as a Building Surveyor, dealing with ideally both residential and commercial properties.

• Experience with managing others and strong communication skills.

• You will be comfortable carrying out projects from inception to completion as well as a thorough knowledge of statutory and industry requirements for building and construction works including the Building Regulations, CDM Regulations and Planning & Consents Processes.

Experience working with railways and archways would be advantageous but not essential.
