Assistant Estimator/ Estimator

Permanent Assistant Estimator / Estimator role, Nottinghamshire, Roofing Experience required. £35k D.O.E

Your new company
Due to continued continued success in the market a Nottinghamshire based roofing contractor are seeking an additional Estimator to join their commercial team. The position will involve assuming pre-construction responsibility for the packages on multiple site based projects at any one time. The position is open to Assistant level candidates as well as more experienced Estimators.


Your new role
You will be responsible for estimating roofing packages with values up to approx. £3 Million Pounds.The role will require you to work independently or with little supervision and you will be able to read drawings, produce take off's, complete measurements and negotiate on price of materials. You will have proven track record in successfully estimating and delivering quality and cost-effective projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked for a contractor in the construction industry and have specific experience in the roofing sector. This may involve Residential and Commercial roofing projects. Additionally a construction related degree or formal confirmation would be beneficial.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of circa £35k + Package and the chance to work for an established contractor with a strong pipeline of work.
