Your new company
Hays are working on behalf of a local construction consultancy in Belfast who offer quantity surveying expertise to a range of public and private sector clients throughout NI and ROI. With an expanding portfolio they now have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join the existing team based in South Belfast.

Your new role
Working alongside and reporting directly into the two managing partners, you will have responsibility for the cost management of projects, producing bills of quantities, estimating and cost planning. You will be involved with full pre and post contract quantity surveying, attending site meetings and design briefings, alongside preparing interim valuations and site measurement.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you should possess: A degree qualification in Quantity Surveying; 3+ years' experience working in a similar role; MRICS status or working towards this; Strong ability to produce bills of quantities; Ability to manage project budgets effectively; Excellent client facing skills; Strong organisational capabilities to ensure that projects are completed within defined timescales; Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
