Capital Projects Officer - Devon

Long term freelance opportunity for a Project Manager to assist in the end to end delivery of capital projects

Your new company
As a Projects Officer you will be joining a client-side estates and facilities team based in the South Devon region, responsible for maintaining and improving a large operationally used commercial property portfolio across the Devon region.

Your new role
As a Capital Project Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of capital project works across the operational property portfolio, including refurbishments, refits and building alterations as well as some yard works. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing contractors, liaising with professional delivery teams including architects, and delivering the works on site.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your new role you'll need to have experience in delivering construction projects on behalf of the client, from feasibility and design phases through to supervising contractors on site.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered an initial three month contract which is highly likely to extend further, and could result in an offer of permanent employment. Initially, you will be offered an hourly rate of up to £23 per hour, and will be entitled to annual leave and accrue a pension contribution.
