Mechanical Design Engineer

A large multi-disciplinary consultancy looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Your new company
This is a large multi-disciplinary consultancy working across a range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare and education. They have a team of over 60 multi-discipline engineers out of which 14 are purely within the M&E team. Due to constant growth they are now looking for a mechanical design engineer to come and join their team in Warrington.

Your new role
As the current projects include a lot of education and industrial sector projects, initially these are the projects you will be working on so any previous experience will be beneficial. You will be working in a team environment, alongside electrical engineers and other mechanical engineer. You will have a hands on approach and will be able to work on mechanical design from RIBA stage 1 - 5. Throughout the day you will be delivering specifications, calculations, design and site visits to review the progress of work.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this post you will be degree qualified in building services or equivalent with previous post graduate experience delivering mechanical designs of heating, ventilation and HVAC systems within a variety of buildings.
You will be proficient with relevant software to deliver those designs, such as Hevacomp, AutoCAD, IES and Revit MEP.
