The Position

We are looking to recruit an Office Administrator to join our vibrant and very busy HR team at our head office in Loughton. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR Department. You will report to the HR Director and work closely with the other members of the team to ensure that a professional, customer focused, proactive and flexible HR service is delivered to the business and its subsidiaries.

Duties include;

  • Producing monthly reports for the HR Department to include new starters, leavers, sickness absence, recruitment stats etc.
  • To act as the initial point of contact for the department, responding to queries and escalating where needed to the appropriate member of the HR team.
  • Organising team meetings and producing agendas and minutes
  • Updating team diaries where appropriate and supporting travel arrangements/bookings
  • Assisting the HR Director with ad hoc projects as required
  • Supporting careers events, job shows, community projects etc.
  • Order all branded material and stationery as required by the HR team
  • Ensuring all systems are up to date and compliant
  • Supporting the development of the intranet and external careers website
  • Maintain up to date filing systems


The Person

The successful person will meet the following criteria;

    • Must have excellent administrative experience within a busy team
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Able to show resilience
    • Pragmatic approach to a busy and varied workload
    • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Packages
    • Proven track record of dealing with sensitive or confidential matters
    • Ability to interpret data and statistics
    • Strong time management and organisational skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Previous HR experience is advantageous but not essential
    • Strong communicative skills (both written and verbal)
