Asbestos Assessor £40,000- £45,000

You will be working for a leading service provider in London.


Your new role

To undertake, maintain, and manage asbestos management surveys throughout the estate portfolio in London.

• Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions and directives
• Compliance with relevant UK Asbestos legislation and standards
• Delivery of works allocated to quality required within set timescales
• Liaison with key stakeholders in order to programme tasks efficiently and effectively
• Coordination of 3rd party Asbestos Surveyors where appropriate
• Ensure premises are safe and free from Asbestos hazards
• Helpdesk logging and closing down jobs
• Undertake ACM inspections
• Responsibility for working independently against deadlines

What you'll need to succeed

Qualifications

• P402 (Essential)
• P405 / P407 (Desirable)

Skills

• Good general numeracy and literacy skills

• Interpersonal skills
• Time Management
• Excellent IT skills, particularly on Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have good working knowledge of the Control of Asbestos Regulations and associated guidance

• Required Technical Skills
• Minimum 2 years relevant work undertaking asbestos surveys

• Ability to think logically and systematically
• Accurate measuring and scoping of works
• Good knowledge of current industry practice
• Problem solving
• Able to plan significant volumes of work

What you'll get in return

Salary will be £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience plus benefits
