This role reflects the company's commitment to growth and development both within the Planning and Development team who operate on a national basis. Whilst based in North Leicestershire, the role may include work on a nationwide basis. Having recruited for this practice a number of times I am happy to chat through company background and ethos.

The role will principally involve providing landowners and developers advice on development consultancy and agency matters. The principal responsibilities include * Assist the team in dealing with residential development opportunities arising from the firm's portfolio of clients across the country. * Site evaluations including planning, technical and legal issues. * Create strong, effective relationships with existing clients and other potential sources of business on behalf of the firm. * Take forward new job enquiries from clients, prepare fee proposals and assist in the preparation of marketing advice and strategies.

• Dealing with the professional advice surrounding strategic land agreements - finding the most suitable developer partners for clients, negotiate terms and creation of heads of terms.
• Dealing with the marketing and sale of residential and mixed use opportunities. Agreeing and implementing marketing campaigns
• Producing sales details and coordinating information packs.
• Obtaining and analysing offers, reporting to clients, conducting interviews with potential purchasers to ensure that the necessary due diligence has been carried out.
• Drafting heads of terms, liaising with solicitors to ensure sales complete within agreed timescales.
• Dealing with post completion issues, such as agreeing overage.
• Negotiations with developers and landowners on options, restrictive covenants, uplift clauses etc. * Collating billing forecasts for reporting to the National Development Team statistics.
