Your new company

My client is one of the largest, privately owned, Leisure Property Surveying consultancies with an impeccable reputation within the industry and currently have 6 offices across the UK's main Hub cities.

My client specialises in undertaking valuations, lease advisory, agency and consultancy services regionally. They now have a crucial requirement for a Divisional Director to run their Birmingham office.

Your new role

Your new role will involve managing the day to day running of their Birmingham office and the team of 7 surveyors and support staff. You will be required to assist your team in development of business and growing the client portfolio.

Your work will breakdown to 80% valuations and 20% agency work, including bank valuations, court work and professional services. You will be required to provide my client and in turn their clients with great service ensuring the company's market leading reputation is maintained and they continue with their unrivalled levels of client retention.

This role will prove to be an exciting stepping stone to a flagship position on the company's Board of Directors.

What you'll need to succeed

For a candidate to be considered you must have done either Agency or Valuation work for at least 7 years Post Qualification in Leisure industry or any or all of the following:

• Acquisitions
• Takeovers
• Mergers

Ideally, you will be a RICS chartered Registered Valuer, however the right experience is more important to the client. You must have experience managing a team or mentoring and be up for the challenge of running an office. An ideal candidate will be confident, outgoing, personable and have a passion and drive that rubs off on people around them. In the event that you are not RICS chartered, my client are prepared to sponsor this accreditation for the right individual.
