Housing Architect Role - £45k + benefits - based in Sidcup
Your new company
My client is a well-established multi- disciplinary company. With 3 offices throughout the UK and around 100 staff members, this company is always expanding and taking on new projects. They mainly work on Residential and Education projects but do also cover all sectors.
They are looking for a Part III Housing Architect to oversee the design division alongside the partners.
Your new role
Your new role will be working within the Architectural team on public sector projects and private developer housing projects, overseeing the process from inception to completion. You will provide top quality design and technical services, and you will be responsible for managing the workflow and the business development side too. You will be reporting to the partners and will manage the design team alongside them.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role it is essential that you have strong experience working on social housing and education projects. You will have very strong skills in Revit, but also be proficient in AutoCAD. You will need to have worked as a similar role (such as project architect), and you will have experience leading a team. You will be Qualified to RIBA part III or registered with ARB as equivalent. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise closely with clients and contractors.
