Principal Electrical design engineer to join a world renowned multi-disciplined consultancy

Your new company
Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join an international multi-disciplined design consultancy who specialise within the Aviation and Maritime sectors. They provide their clients with a number of services from the full design and build package through to environmental surveys. With nearly 140 years experience and over 140 countries they are well known throughout the world.

Your new role
You will be working in a client facing position providing the services to the UK and Overseas projects. You will be preparing design calculations, drawings and specifications. You will be working alongside the Mechanical engineers, junior engineers and CAD team to provide the drawings. You will be leading client meetings and helping to manage the project and the packages. A part of your role will be to assist with the training of the junior engineers - offering them help and guidance.

What you'll need to succeed
BEng / MEng in Electrical or Building services
Ideally you will be chartered or working towards charteredship
Experience with Internal lighting and the calculations required
Be up to date with the current wiring regulations and BS/EN standards
Ideally you will have had experience working in a medium or large sized consultancy, but this is not essential
You will have experience using amtech, dialux, relux or any other calculation softwares
