Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Permanent Graduate Quantity Surveyor role, Nottinghamshire, Main Contractor, Multi sector works - £18k - £23k

Your new company
The position is with a main contractor who carry out projects nationally across multiple sectors including; Retail, Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial and Heritage. The organisation complete works ranging in value from £2.5m and £10m. Due to increased workload they are seeking a permanent Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their ranks.

Your new role
You will be assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyors across multiple projects. The role will be dealing with subcontractors, preparing and monitoring budgets, helping to prepare cost reports and valuations. You may also be asked to look at remeasures and dealing with contractual issues. You will have continued support from the Senior Quantity Surveyors who will assist with your development.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have a degree qualification in a relevant discipline. Ideally you will also have some hands on experience within the construction industry, this could be from a placement year. You will be a conscientious and pro active individual who is willing to learn and demonstrate a passion for the construction industry. You will also hold a full UK driving license. Due to the location of projects you may be asked to travel from time to time as such a willingness to do so is a pre requisite.


What you'll get in return
