Quantity Surveyor

Freelance QS Required

Recruiting on behalf of a major modular build company branching out across the south coast. Huge contract on new project within Hampshire area, now in need of a freelance QS to join for 3-6 months. Great opportunity for a unique and interesting project.


You will be working Mon-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm based on site within the Hampshire area. You will report in to the head office fortnightly with budget updates. Day to day duties include supervise commercial aspects of the sub-contractors, checking and verifying work sheets, collating, forecasting and managing the costs of various packages and supplying data to head office.


You will ideally need at least 8 years experience within surveying and extensive knowledge with surveying roles on big multi million pound projects. Must have a surveying degree or a qualification equivalent. Modular build experience desirable but not essential for this specific role. Must have experience in budgeting, costs, sub-contractor weekly sheets control and being able to price up certain packages.


You will be offered a placement between 3-6 months on an exciting and interesting project, adding good experience to skill set. You will be working with a major company, so if proven, could lead to other placements on other projects. Day rate of £300 per day and it is an immediate start. Based in Hampshire and freelance work only initially.
