Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Permanent Graduate Quantity Surveyor role, Nottinghamshire, Residential new build and care homes, £18k - £23k

Your new company
You will be working for an established family run contractor who specialise in residential new build and care home projects across the East Midlands. The company have a friendly and professional approach and have established excellent working relationships with clients and subcontractors. They are now seeking to add a graduate Quantity Surveyor to their ranks on a permanent basis.


Your new role
You will be predominantly office based initially but will be going out on Site Visits as and when applicable. You will be shadowing 2 Quantity Surveyors and learning the ropes in a practical setting. You will gain exposure to pre construction, take off's, measurements, subcontractor procurement, cost reporting, dealing with enquiries and buying throughout your time in the company. You will eventually be able to take ownership of smaller projects which will then be increased in scale as your experience grows.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this position you will be ideally be Degree Qualified in a construction related discipline. You will also be conscientious and professional in your manner. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to progress in the construction sector.


What you'll get in return
You will receive a starting salary of £18k - £23k + Package dependant on previous experience. You will also receive full training and mentor-ship from established Quantity Surveyors.
