Working within the Estates & Facilities maintenance team and in conjunction with the Maintenance Programme Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a range of planned and reactive maintenance projects. The successful candidate will ensure that maintenance projects are delivered to specification, on budget and on-time within a safety conscious and complex multi-stakeholder environment.
You will have:
- Proven project management skills
- An excellent technical background in a related discipline
- A commercial approach with the ability to ensure that projects are delivered within budget
- A firm commitment to non-confrontational partnering procurement
- The ability to make systematic and rational judgments based on relevant information
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- A positive and proactive approach to managing Health & Safety and for promoting its importance on all projects
- An appropriate degree or Higher National Certificate or Diploma
