Bid Writer

A bid writer job in Lancashire paying £40k + for a major contractor specialising within commercial projects.

Your new company
You will join a national contractor, who have been established for over 50 years and have a huge presence within the Scotland & the north of England. A successful, cash rich business who's success has been driven through tactical planned growth - being vigilant in expanding businesses & regions when they are buoyant. They have over 20 different business streams including residential, engineering, energy, asset management, facilities management and small works.

Your new role
You will join their bid management team as a bid / proposals writer, specialising within Health, Education, Retail and Commercial schemes. You will lead the completion of PQQs and bid / tender quality submission at the pre-qualification and bidding stage. You will review successful and unsuccessful submissions and compare feedback. You will produce bespoke business development literature and work within an experienced team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will currently be working within a bid / proposals environment preferably for a construction / project management business. You will have strong IT Skills and excellent written / verbal communication. You will have a strong career background and want to develop your career with an established contractor working on prestigious schemes.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary up to £35,000 - £50,000 + car / car allowance, plus a generous package. You will receive support from the senior management team and future career opportunities will be provided as the business continues to flourish within the North West.
