Your new company
My client is the one of the world's largest real estate service companies with a new vacancy arising for a facilities manager to take ownership of a facility based down in Brighton. This exciting opportunity is open to an individual looking to work for a worldwide company.
Currently occupied by over 600 staff working within the customer service sector, this fast-paced environment needs a competent FM to help run the smooth-running and upkeep of the facility to meet both client and customer needs.
Your new role
As the Facilities manager you will be responsible for planned and reactive works, working alongside the onsite mechanics who are there to assist any technical problems. Your role will be to ensure the facility is fully operational and compliant, ensuring that the current occupants have what they need in a working facility.
With a call centre based on site a facilities manager with both Hard and Soft services background is highly desirable. You will have a worldwide brand to represent and this is your chance to progress into the next stages of facilities management.
Duties of the role include:
- M&E Technical background
- Energy management
- Ensuring compliance is met in accordance with local ES&H laws
- Produce reports and analyse information provided to improve current processes
- Strong communication skills offering support and guidance for FM services on site
- Strategic review of maintenance techniques, towards run time and condition-based maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be able to meet most of the below requirements:
- Client facing
- City & Guilds Level 3
- IOSH Qualification
- BIFM qualification desirable
- NEBOSH qualification desirable
- Analytical, Organisation and planning skills
- High understanding of Health and safety legislation
