Your new company
Hays have been retained exclusively to source a Clerk of Works / Site inspector for a large and established Charity within the care and supported living sector. They have a major project coming up which will modernise and improve the quality of existing buildings as well as creating some further accommodation to meet the growing demands for rooms.
Your new role
You will hold a vital role in the organisation - providing clerk of works services ie site inspections, reporting on major refurb projects as well as new builds, ensuring that the project is completed in line with standards and specifications, and ultimately being proactive in making sure that there are no major issues with the build work. You will be providing monthly reports to senior management and will also take the lead on snagging on behalf of the client.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, it is crucial that you have TIMBER FRAME experience. You will also have a proven history of working in the construction industry at a site management / COW level. As well as this you will also hold a relevant construction qualification and your knowledge on building regs, H&S, and advising during RIBA stages 3&4. This a FTC role for a 18 month period so a fairly quick availability is preferred. A car and driving licence is important.
