Associate Director, Compulsory Purchase Surveyor, Central London Consultancy, Permanent Vacancy £50k - £70k

This is a brand new job vacancy to join a leading real estate consultancy based within their flagship central London office where you will work within the Development consultancy team.

This award-winning business provide a range of technical & strategic real estate solutions delivering value for their clients, this particular role will sit within the Development Consultancy business. This niche organisation is looking for a highly qualified surveyor to manage mixed use regeneration projects across London & South East for both owners and occupiers.

Your new role

The successful individual will support and assist the Head of Compulsory Purchase and other service lines while assisting clients to achieve their objectives. The role will involve site assembly and compulsory purchase projects managing the process from conception through to completion and formalising compensation negotiations.

Main Duties:

  • Taking full ownership of your projects and clients
  • Preparing estimates of compensation payable
  • Advising on compulsory purchase and process procedures
  • Pre-CPO site assembly negotiations
  • Working alongside the development, planning and financial consulting and other businesses to deliver a 1st class client experience
  • Clients will include; Local Authorities, Landlords, Occupiers, Developers and Land Owners


What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be an MRICS Chartered Surveyor and must be able to demonstrate a prior track record of delivering CPO services across multiple sectors. The role will require detailed written client reporting skills, development appraisal & feasibility studies along with the ability to negotiate compulsory purchase claims and compensations. Real Estate planning, development and valuation skills would also be beneficial.
