Growing Leicestershire consultancy are looking to add a new role to the ranks. This will appeal to anyone who wants to work for company big enough to get involved with decent sized projects but not a national player full of red tape. Really nice feel to the business where the right people are welcomed and look Ideally the location of said person would be south side of Leicestershire / Northamptonshire to look after projects in that area.

This is not essential just useful for travel to projects. They are looking for a talented individual with a keen interest in construction quality and processes. Applicants should have a minimum of five years experience in the construction industry and possess a good knowledge of construction technology and modern methods of construction.

The role will involve regular site inspections on predominantly residential developments across the Midlands and occasionally further afield. You will be responsible for checking the contractor's compliance with the contract drawings, specification, Building Regulations and Building Warranty standards and producing a short report of your findings following each visit. You will carry out snagging inspections prior to Practical Completion and issue lists of identified defects. Applicants from experienced Clerk of Works and from other relevant professionals such as Site Managers, Building Control Inspectors, Building Warranty Inspectors etc are welcomed.
