Mechanical Design Engineer

A specialist M&E contractor looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to come and join their team.

Your new company
This is a specialist M&E contractor working on quite a few retail banking frameworks, delivering data centres, branches and offices. As they work on frameworks and a lot of their work is coming from repeat business their work is stable and allowing them to grow their team steadily.
Alongside retail banking projects they also work on leisure, industrial, retail and healthcare sectors.

Your new role
You will be working alongside M&E engineers, project managers, estimators and will be reporting directly into the associate directors at the company. You will be working fairly autonomously but will be expected to liaise with electrical engineers to make sure that the designs work together and meet the client to manage their expectations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be minimum HND/HNC qualified with previous experience working within the building services industry. Having worked on a variety of projects you will be able to deliver designs using AutoCAD and Hevacomp.
You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on your experience. You will be working on a variety of projects alongside a fantastic team. The office is easily accessible either via public transport or there is parking space available. Benefits include, competitive annual leave, flexible working arrangement and pension contribution.
