Quantity Surveyor opportunity, Social Housing/domestic projects, South Wales, Immediate Start, £20 per hour.


Your new organisation
Your new organisation is a Social Housing provider based in South Wales who are looking to recruit a temporary Quantity Surveyor into their multidisciplinary team.

Your new role
You will be undertaking a varied role as a Quantity Surveyor to deliver the major and minor works within the department which includes budget evaluation, monitoring and reporting, developing schedules of works from plans and written instructions.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of completing cost plans
Experience of budget evaluation, monitoring and reporting
Working knowledge of JCT contracts, ability to issue the required notices, certificates etc
Ability to develop schedules of works from plans or written instructions
Pre & post tender contract administration experience
Experience of tender evaluation and analysis
Experience of Microsoft excel and being able to manipulate
Educated to at least HNC level

What you'll get in return
You will work a minimum of 37 hours per week, rate of pay £20 per hour, long term contract - minimum of 6 months with possibility of extension, looking for a candidate to start immediately.
