Salary: Up to c. £38,000 + Car Allowance (negotiable dependant on experience)

As our client's business continues to grow and develop, they are looking for an enthusiastic Procurement Officer to work within the Procurement Team.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is key in providing day-to-day support to their Civils Procurement Team - dealing with their major road building projects.
The Post Holder will be required to work flexibly within a rapidly developing office environment.

The main duties and responsibilities will involve:-
* Assist the Supply Chain Manager.
* Populate subcontract and material tender enquiries and issue via email/post.
* Compare, discuss and agree tender subcontract and material quotations/submissions.
* Support the project site team with their day to day procurement requirements, ordering site consumables, materials, signs, office equipment etc.
* Obtain new company details, including financial and insurance documentation, complete internal forms and issue to the relevant department(s).
* Ensure data management systems are kept up to date.
* Carry out any other duties as are necessary within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager.
* Offer support to other office-based staff when possible or required.
* Attend meetings, as required.
* Introduce improvements where appropriate to areas of responsibility.
* Periodically review project procurement schedules with Supply Chain Manager, Project Manager & Planner.
