Architectural Technician/Technologist - based in West Kent - Up to £41k + Benefits
Your new company
A well-established, large Architectural Practice based in the West Kent area, are looking for a Mid to Senior level Architectural Technician/Technologist. The company was founded in the late 80's and has multiple offices across the UK. It can be found on the AJ Top 100 and has previously won the award for "Architectural Practice of the Year". The majority of their projects are in the Education sector; however, they do also cover Residential and Commercial.
Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting with the feasibility studies, accommodation strategies and area forecasts. You will assist with developing renders and 3D animations of projects, as well as developing design sketches using ArchiCAD and BIM (full training will be provided on these programmes) You will work with the team on both design and development of projects covering RIBA stages 0-7
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced Part II Assistant who is looking to take your Part III examination in the near future. You will have worked on medium to large scale Educational projects and have a desire to grow your skills and career within the company.
It is preferable that you are registered with RIBA or ARB, however if you have strong UK experience but qualified in Architecture internationally, you will be considered.
It is essential that you have experience within 3D software, as ArchiCAD is the main software used in this practice. If you do not have experience using ArchiCAD, full training will be provided
