Permanent Project Manager job paying up to £55,000pa

Your new company
Your new company is a large organisation founded for over 20 years, who operate within a number of specialist trades within the fit-out sector. They have a turnover of more than £75m and employ around 1000 people with 3 regional offices, although they operate nationally. They are now looking for a project manager to join their team on a permanent basis, predominately focussing on Manchester based projects however there may be national travel required.

Your new role
Your new role is a Permanent Project Manager job that will be based mostly within Manchester and will be Site based. Delivery and control of construction projects to meet the customer specification whilst fully complying with all health and safety requirements and striving to meet all business and customer objectives.

• Project manage the safe delivery of construction projects within the fit-out sector
• Line management of the site management team
• Manage all project related correspondence
• Ensure that safe working practices and safety procedures are implemented
• Make commercial decisions within the construction process
• Manage liaisons, interfaces and contacts with client site management

This list is not extensive and other duties may be required.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will need to have similar experience within Project Management in Construction, including technical knowledge of drywall, ceilings, fire stopping, and knowledge of facades and rendering. You must be computer literate and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages, and it would be desirable for you to have experience on ASTA Projects Software and Microsoft project. You must be comfortable dealing with all levels of business and have excellent communication skills when dealing with both clients and colleagues.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £55,000per annum, company vehicle plus fuel card, healthcare following on from probationary period, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, workplace pension for 5% employee and 3% employer (this increases to 5% once probation is completed) and great hours of 8.30am - 4.30pm.
