Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a growing M&E consultancy in Manchester.

Your new company
This is a medium sized M&E consultancy working across healthcare, education, hospitality, retail, leisure and residential sectors. This company prides itself on their innovative and practical approach that has allowed them to gain positive reputation and consistent growth over the years. They have now won quite a few projects within the infrastructure sector and so the first few projects you will be involved in will be metro stations.

Your new role
You will be working alongside a team of experienced engineers where you will be working on a project from initial concept through to completion. You will have the opportunity to liaise with suppliers and further develop your expertise within mechanical design as well as team management and building client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have ONC/HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services with previous experience working within Building Services Environment. This role will require you to work both individually and as part of a team therefore good communication skills are essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Hevacomp is required.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience with pension contribution, flexible working arrangement and excellent team that is really close knit. They like to socialise, banter and support each other on daily basis. You will be working in the city centre of Manchester within a walking distance from tram, train or any other public transport.
