An M&E Building Services CAD Technician job for a Building Services consultancy in Kettering

Your new company
A highly successful M&E Building Services consultancy based in Northamptonshire. They have several offices across the country and operate in most industry sectors working on some exciting projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and success, they require an M&E CAD Technician to work alongside the design team to produce high quality Building Services drawings.

Your new role
As CAD Technician you will expected to produce high quality and accurate drawings using hand mark ups from preliminary status through to tender, types of drawings include layout plans, sections, elevations, details and schematics. You will be heavily involved in the coordination between Architectural, Structural and Building Services drawings. This will involve working to tight project deadlines and daily liaison with the Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. You will take responsibility for electronic filing of drawings and documents received via email or disk and organise all internal and external printing runs.


What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience using AutoCAD.
* MEP (Building Services) experience is essential
* A qualification in Building Services/Mechanical /Electrical Engineering advantageous (HNC/HND/BEng)
* Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines
* IT Literate - ability to use AutoCAD essential
* Revit MEP experience desirable but not essential
* Good communication skills & ability to work in a busy office environment
