The Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Recruitment Coordinator to work alongside our Talent & Selection Manager as part of the HR Department.

Working closely with the business leaders and the HR team you will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive and responsive in house recruitment service.

You will be working in a fast paced role, where you will be required to work autonomously to support and lead (on occasion) a busy recruitment function.

You will be required to undertake the following duties;

  • To manage the recruitment campaigns for the business in partnership with line managers.
  • Coordinate interviews with agencies, candidates and line managers

  • To manage the recruitment life cycle from initial vacancy request through to the offer and on boarding.
  • To manage applications from job boards, the intranet and applicant tracking system.
  • To develop, maintain and review the recruitment PSL
  • To actively lead and/or support on apprenticeship and graduate recruitment
  • Support line managers in the development of job descriptions
  • Manage a talent pool
  • To write job adverts suitable for newspaper and online and publish in the relevant places, to include job boards and social media platforms
  • To liaise with line managers to understand the
  • To competently interview candidates in line with the job and person specification
  • General administrative duties
  • To support/lead in recruitment and HR activities to include careers fairs etc

The Person

  • You will have extensive experience of working in an house recruitment role or for a recruitment agency
  • Must have experience of managing a high volume of vacancies simultaneously alongside graduate & apprentice recruitment.
  • Construction recruitment is desirable but not essential
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of self-management
  • Stakeholder management skills are essential
  • Must have a positive and flexible approach to work
  • You will have excellent communication skills
  • Must be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate with a sound understanding of MS Word packages.
