Structural Technician

Your new company
Are a consultant engineering firm based in Edinburgh. They have a consistently increasing workload since the turn in the year and the rest of the year going in the same direction they are in the market for a Technician to support their projects in the residential and commercial sectors.

Your new role
You will join their structural design team to augment their current headcount. At present they have the project load to support another Technician joining the team to assist in design drawing production. Projects vary and you will be involved in a range of them at any one time.

What you'll need to succeed
You require a consultancy based background to ensure the relevant working practices and understanding of the standards required for the designs produced. Experience in utilising AutoCAD for detailing timber, steel, masonry and concrete is essential to allow immediate uptake of workload.
