Commercial Valuations Surveyor - Associate Director

Your new company are a UK based LLP that provides property advice to public and private sector clients throughout the country. Established over 150 years ago, the business now operates from 12 offices across the UK, employing over 120 surveyors, and remains wholly LLP owned.


Your new role

The Guildford office comprises of 6 surveyors who predominantly specialise in development and public sector / blue light consultancy, with clients such as Surrey Police, Surrey County Council and various NHS Trusts providing the bulk of the office's work.

You will be based in the Guildford office and will travel across Surrey, London and the South East, carrying out valuations of commercial and residential premises on behalf of bank lending clients; and retained asset valuations, across private and public sectors.

As an associate at the business, additional responsibilities will include networking with local banking relationship managers, building strong professional relationships, developing business through securing agreements and contracts, and overseeing the activities of more junior valuation surveyors.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be an RICS qualified Surveyor and, Registered Valuer with a minimum of three years' post- qualification experience.

Prior experience in commercial property valuations for bank lending purposes is vital for this role, as well as retained asset valuations.

To work effectively in the associate position, you will need prior experience managing or supervising more junior members of staff, and ideally will have a track record of winning and developing business, bringing new clients to the business.

The ideal candidate will be collaborative in their approach to work, operating as a team in order to achieve success.


What you'll get in return

In return you will receive a highly competitive wage in-line with market average, falling between £60 & 65K. You will receive a car allowance of £3000 - £5000 dependent on the level of your experience, and will receive a discretionary annual bonus on top.

The office is situated on the outskirts of Guildford and is therefore perfectly placed for you to avoid the heavy rush our traffic going into the town. There is also a private car park for employees.

Official office hours are 09.00 - 17.30 Monday - Friday, the business are flexible on these times if necessary changes benefit both employee and business.
