Senior Town Planner, £30Ph, Long Term Contract

Your new company

A East London Authority which is currently looking to recruit for a Senior Town Planner. The borough has a broad and diverse including but not limited to Suburban, green space, regeneration, conservation and heritage sites.


Your new role

Your new role will be working specifically on major applications, managing planning proposals and applications, developing planning policy and delivering planning strategy. The position will be responsible for the negotiating of pre-applications including co-ordinating all associated assessment work including Environmental Impact Assessments.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have worked on complex applications within a UK based local authority. You will need a stable and steady work history ideally within London Borough Planning Teams or overseas experience of a similar level.

What you'll get in return

This is a long-term contract with a very generous hourly rate, you will have the ability to work from home with flexible working hours. The position will allow you to work on large complex projects allowing you to gain the experience to push for a principle level role in the future.
