Project Manager (F&B)

This global project & design led consultancy is urgently looking to hire a Project Manager with experience in fit-out and refurbishment of food & beverage and retail environments.

Immediately you’ll be managing three projects around London for national and international clients. Individually, schemes are under c£1m each - one presently on site and two more at planning stages alongside your role in supporting the Head of Projects on several other schemes.  

Skills, experience and qualifications

• Min 5 years construction project management experience in (ideally) a property consultancy environment .
• Significant and varied experience within food and beverage in a similar management role
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex retail fit out projects simultaneously: managing project costs, timelines and quality.
• Well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of planning and building regulations for retail environments
• High-level negotiation skills in a retail construction environment, balancing competing priorities (franchisee, brand, landlord, good design and regulations)
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong interpersonal skills that develop and maintain client relationships
• Ability and confidence in dealing with contractors to resolve on-site queries and concerns.
• A team player, who can remain calm under pressure
• You will think quickly and act appropriately to solve issues as and when they arise. Attention to detail is important as well as lateral thinking
• Client management experience, balancing competing priorities, expectations, budgets, and workloads.
• Highly PC literate. Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• Construction degree
• Additional Project Management Qualification desirable.
• Ideal CSCS card holder.
• Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence
