Quantity Surveyor Required

I am recruiting on behalf of a civil engineering groundwork company who are becoming more established with this sector. They have excellent growth opportunities and new sites across Hampshire in which they need extra help with due to demands. They are currently seeking a QS to join on a temp basis with a view to going permanent.


You will be a QS working Monday-Friday 8 hour days based just outside of Southampton, near Andover. You will be expected to travel across to various sites when required and manage the estimating on tendering for new business. Your day to day responsibilities include budgeting, costs, tendering, using programmes such as JCT and manage the costs of labour and materials.


You will need extensive knowledge in QS work especially in civil engineering groundwork projects. Must have an academic qualification in QS work or an equivalent qualification. Must have experience in costs and estimating at a fast paced environment.


You will be working for a growing business offering opportunities to succeed and build a career for the future.
