Working Foreman Required

I am recruiting on behalf of a civil engineering groundwork firm based just outside of Southampton, Hampshire. Client has been building reputation in the market and have various sites across Hampshire in which they have constant need for work. They have highly established directors who have worked in their career within groundwork and civil engineering so will always be supported. Great company to be associated with.


You will be a working foreman leading a team of around 30 men doing groundworks. You will be working Monday-Friday 8 hour days and will be expected to problem solve and think fast on your feet. You will be expected to get stuck in with the team and be in the ground physically working along side the team.


You will need to have a great work ethic and a keen eye to solve problems. Must have exceptional organisational and communication skills to ensure deadlines on projects are on target. Must have extensive knowledge in civil groundworks and being in the ground working on foundations and pipework etc.


This is a temp position for 3 months initially, then with a view to go perm if successful and suited for both parties. Pay negotiable between £220-£240 a day depending on level of experience and working for a company with growth within the current market.
